In order to reduce smoke during a candle burn, you should trim your wick before every burn, this helps to get rid of the carbon build up on your wick, giving it a nice smooth burn. This also significantly improves the burn quality of your candles.
Our wicks are 100% cotton with no lead coatings; instead it is coated with natural wax. This ensures a perfect burn for your candles.
We only use natural waxes such as soy wax, coconut wax and bees wax. Our beeswax is sourced from a local bee farm.

AHA means Alpha Hydroxy Acids naturally occurring in food. For instance, citric acid found in citrus food, Macil acid found in grapes. AHA are good PH balancers for the skin, keeping your skin in perfect balance.AHA is a natural exfoliator removing dead layers of skin and giving you a new layer of skin. Hence the sensitivity to the sun, because the new layer of the skin will be delicate and fragile.
We always advise using sun protection and a hat for skin sensitivity protection.
Yes. But due to our high quality ingredients it is very uncommon. Always read the labels and stay away from ingredients that you could be allergic to. We recommend patch testing before use.
Our most common Natural Preservatives Include:
- Leuconostoc Ferment Filtrate- Antimicrobials derived from fermented radish root. Rosemary leaf, Oregano, Thyme and Olive leaf extracts- Herbal extract blend that keepsall water based formulas free from mold and bacteria.
- Hydroxymethylgyciante- Derived form amino acid and glycine. Approved by EU.
Yes, all skincare needs preservatives to keep them free from bacteria and mould formation. There are many extremely harmful preservatives in products, but we have managed to use natural preservatives that give the same result as the artificial preservatives you see in most products. Even products that state they are Natural, don’t always remove all the harmful preservatives, always do your research to ensure your getting the very best for your skin.
